Garrett is a commoner with a sordid family history. He meets Terrena while she is still disguised as a commoner as well, and they fall in love. He travels with her and Kenward throughout Estridia, not refusing or asking any questions when Kenward tells them it's time to leave or that they need to train harder to fight. War is always one step away from them.
